The Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO) said in a statement on Tuesday that the Macau Grand Prix Museum is set to launch a series of activities for the 70th Macau Grand Prix, which will take place from November 11-12 and November 16-19, aiming to deepen integration of “tourism+sport”.

From November 1 to 30, the statement noted, there will be a daily mapping show titled “Macau Grand Prix Museum Chronicles: 70 Legendary Years” on the museum’s exterior every night. Lasting around five minutes, the show will be held every 15 minutes between 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Moreover, a video titled “70 Legendary Years of Macau Grand Prix”, showcasing memorable moments throughout the racing event’s history, will be played at the museum’s Screening Room starting from next Wednesday, the statement said.

A brand-new virtual reality (VR) experience will also enable visitors to experience a replay of the Macau Touring Car Cup – China Touring Car Championship at the Macau Grand Prix in 2022, according to the statement.

In the museum’s basement, the statement added that the “Oracle Red Bull Racing” Special Exhibition will be held from tomorrow through November 19 to showcase “Oracle Red Bull Racing”, the gear and equipment of F1 drivers as well as the racing team’s promotional video. A concurrent activity “Red Bull Pit Stop Challenge” (swiftness challenge of changing tyres) will also be held at Galaxy Macau in Cotai, the statement added.

Meanwhile, the museum will extend its opening hours from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with tickets on sale until 9 p.m., during the six-day race period. Two sessions of public guided tours will also be added at 6:30 p.m. (English) and 7:30 p.m. (Putonghua), along with two extra movie screenings at the Screening Room at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., according to the statement.

Two ticket discount offers will also be launched from next Wednesday onwards. For more information, visit https://mgpm.macaotourism.gov.mo/en/
