The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) announced yesterday that its “Visiting the Ruins of St. Paul’s in Space and Time – Exhibition of Virtual Reality at the Ruins of St. Paul’s” has been extended till the end of this year.

According to an IC statement, the exhibition, an innovative cultural tourism project, is the first time in Macau’s World Cultural Heritage history that cutting-edge simulation technologies, including 3D modelling, autostereoscopy, virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), to digitally restore the church’s original façade have been adopted.

In 2005, the Historic Centre of Macau was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Admission to the exhibition is priced at 50 patacas, but students aged between five and 18 and senior citizens aged 65 or above, as well as Disability Assessment Registration Card holders, enjoy a 50-percent discount on the standard fee.
