A special discretionary bonus will be distributed to eligible staff of integrated resort (IR) operator SJM Resorts. S.A. on January 31, according to a statement from the company yesterday.
The bonus, equivalent to a month’s salary, is set to benefit 98 percent of SJM staff, the statement noted.
SJM Managing Director Daisy Ho Chiu-fung was quoted by the statement as saying: “The company sincerely appreciates the efforts and contributions of our team members, who have capitalised upon opportunities presented in the post-pandemic recovery, leading to steady growth in our business and significant progress in non-gaming realms such as culture, gastronomy, sport, and entertainment performances”.
Ho added that SJM and its staff members will continue to leverage the company’s “strengths and networks to offer high-quality tourism and leisure products and services to visitors from around the world”.
Macau’s five other integrated resort operators, Sands China, MGM, Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG), Wynn and Melco Resorts & Entertainment, had also recently announced discretionary bonuses for their staff, which the Post reported last Friday and on Monday.
