Macau-based Sky Shuttle Helicopters Limited announced in a statement on Friday that its service between Macau and Hong Kong, and between Macau and Shenzhen, would resume starting this Friday, after having been suspended since February 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Founded in 1988 as East Asia Airlines Limited, the company operates helicopter routes between Macau, Hong Kong and Shenzhen. Its heliport in Macau is situated in the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal.

According to the statement, two return flights per day between Macau and Hong Kong, and one between Macau and Shenzhen are scheduled every day except Tuesday and Wednesday, with flight times of about 15 minutes. Information regarding the fare rates and timetable is to be confirmed on the company’s website, which until yesterday had not been updated.

In the statement, the helicopter operator added that it planned to expand its services to other cities across Guangdong this year, in order to provide more destination options for its customers.
