SJM Resorts announced in a statement on Friday a salary increment for eligible staff that will be effective from April 1.
The integrated resort (IR) operator noted that staff who joined the company before January 1, 2024 and have a monthly base salary of 16,000 patacas or below are set to receive a 600 pataca salary increment. Those earning a monthly salary of over 16,000 will receive a 2.5 percent increment.
The statement said that the increase will benefit 99.5 percent of SJM staff.
“United as one, SJM and its team members will continue to strive for high quality innovative developments, injecting new momentum and vitality into the Macau economy”, the statement noted.
Macau’s five other integrated resort operators Sands China, Melco Resorts & Entertainment, MGM, Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG), and Wynn, have also announced salary increases for their staff. The Post had reported the increases on January 5, 8 16 and 18.
