COVA Macao has recently opened at the Shoppes at Four Seasons in Cotai, with Milan’s premium confectionary destination offering delicacies and Italian coffee at its first local shop, according to a statement distributed by Sands China on behalf of COVA.
The statement noted that COVA has over 200 years of history and was founded in 1817, being one of Italy’s oldest Pasticceria (pastry shop). It has branches in different cities around the world, according to the statement. In Hong Kong, it has 13 retail outlets and 5 Caffè (Italian café).
The new shop is reminiscent of the original Milanese Cova café, the statement said, adding that it retains the crystal chandeliers and sapphire blue suede carpets, off-white cake cabinets and Italian espresso machine.
The statement said that a raft of fresh cakes, pastries, croissants, sandwiches, salads, and Italian espressos are offered and all use traditional recipes from Milan. Whole cake pre-orders, along with gifts of chocolates, coffee, and olive oil air-flown from Milan are also available.
COVA Macao is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, including public holidays. It is located on K1 of the Mezzanine Level of Shoppes at Four Seasons. For enquiries, one can call 2882 0083.
