The Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ) said in a statement yesterday that admission information for different education stages in the 2024/2025 academic year has been published on its website.
The statement noted that parents seeking to enrol students in secondary, primary and pre-primary (non-first-time enrolment) education in the city in September 2024 can visit the “A Guide to School Enrolment” section to access information, links to school websites and application forms.
Parents were reminded to make necessary preparations from March 1 onwards in line with the selected school’s requirements and enrolment period, according to the statement.
The statement said that there will be 51 school units* admitting secondary students and 60 school units admitting primary students in the 2024/2025 academic year, adding that the collection date of a “school place reservation fee” from new students in different education stages should start no earlier than April 13.
Moreover, the statement said that the bureau has also adjusted the guidelines on school admission interviews and examinations, asking parents to make a note of the arrangements. More details can be found on the website at www.dsedj.gov.mo or by calling 8397 2331 (secondary education) or 8397 2309 (primary and pre-primary education) during office hours.
