Wynn currently has procurement contracts with about 200 local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), Linda Chen, the gaming operator’s executive director, said yesterday.

Chen made the remarks while speaking to reporters after attending the launching ceremony of mobile app “ChoicePro”, which serves as a platform to connect local SMEs and large enterprises and provides the latest procurement information to further promote business opportunities for local SMEs. The app was developed by a local company that recently won an app design competition commissioned by the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Centre (CPTTM).

The app is a further effort to promote local business collaboration after gaming operators such as Wynn launched a procurement partnership programme with the Macau Chamber of Commerce (ACM) that aims to help cultivate local small and micro enterprises, “Made in Macau” enterprises and local young entrepreneurs, according to a statement by the US gaming operator.
