Macau Urban Renewal Limited (MUR) is slated to host a free flower-arrangement workshop at the Macau New Neighbourhood’s (MNN) sales centre in Hengqin in celebration of International Women’s Day, with registrations open until Wednesday, the Macau government-owned company said in a statement on Thursday.
International Women’s Day is annually celebrated on March 8.
Entitled “In the Name of Flowers: MNN Goddess Day Flower Arranging Workshop”, the workshop will be held on Friday at 3 p.m. and on Saturday at 10:30 a.m., each lasting around 90 minutes, according to the statement. Light refreshments will be served.
The statement noted that through the workshop, MUR hopes that participants can “experience the art of floristry and feel relaxed as a way to relieve stress in everyday life”.
Registrations, the statement said, can be done on https://ssur.cc/Lj2kummp, with a maximum of 60 participants. If the registrants exceed the limit, the statement said, a lucky draw will be held, with the lucky ones to be notified via SMS this Thursday.
Meanwhile, to get to MNN, the statement noted that members of the public can take the complimentary MNN shuttle bus, which runs every 15 minutes, from the North Gate 2 bus pick-up area on Level L2 at Hengqin Port (checkpoint).
