Traffic Consultative Council Convener Kuok Keng Man said yesterday the government planned to extend the 10-hour ban on tourist coaches along Rua de D. Belchior Carneiro – Kou Ün Kai in Cantonese – on Saturdays and Sundays to every day of the week from February
Kuok said that the government would review the ban at some time in the future but no timetable was given.
According to an announcement by the Transport Bureau (DSAT) early this month, tourist coaches have been banned since December 3 from picking up passengers along Rua de D. Belchior Carneiro from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday.
