Integrated resort (IR) operator SJM Resorts says in a statement that following its Shenzhen stop last month, two separate SJM Resorts Product Seminars have recently been held in Shanghai and Beijing, showcasing Macau’s unique “Tourism+” allure, in the hope of enhancing visits and cooperation from mainland tourists.

According to the statement, the two seminars, attended by a total of about 300 representatives from corporate clients, the leisure and exhibition industry and travel agencies, provided their participants with a “deeper” understanding of SJM’s vast array of tourism products from its parent company STDM while also promoting its resort and hotels, including its newest flagship – Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau (GLP) in Cotai.

The seminars highlighted, according to the statement, spotlights of  SJM resort and hotels, pointing out that the Grand Lisboa Palace features a unique blend of East and West in its interior design and is renowned by its trio of opulent hotel towers, which together with the globally unique THE KARL LAGERFELD MACAU, and the very first Palazzo Versace Macau in Asia, is the only resort in Macau that boasts two prestigious designer brands under its roof, offering “an unparalleled luxury stay, world-class dining, serene spa treatments, chic shopping, enriching cultural and artistic programmes, and themed entertainment facilities”.

Grand Lisboa on the peninsula is home to several famous restaurants recognised by the MICHELIN Guide and the Black Pearl Restaurant Guide, and both the Grand Lisboa Palace and the Grand Lisboa have earned Forbes Travel Guide’s coveted five-star distinction. The Hotel Jai-Alai, which is connected to the Inner Harbour Ferry Terminal in Zape by a bridge, offers a wide range of recreational and leisure facilities to its guests. Various hotels under STDM’s umbrella boast a rich heritage and have received widespread recognition, including Hotel Lisboa and Hotel Sintra in the city centre, Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau in Zape, and Grand Coloane Resort.
