Galaxy Macau has recently launched its newly designed Galaxy Kidz Edutainment Centre, which aims to become the “the ultimate party destination for children in the heart of the city”, the integrated resort (IR) operator said in a statement yesterday.
The statement noted that the centre was designed by Manfred Yuen (阮文韜), a renowned young architect from Hong Kong. The upgraded centre is located on the second floor of the integrated resort and offers an “ideal venue” for special occasions such as children’s birthday parties, according to the statement, and is where children take the centre stage, revel in the interactive entertainment experiences with friends, and where “laughter blends seamlessly with learning”.
Up to 40 family and friends can be invited to celebrate at Galaxy Kidz Parties, the statement said, with bookings allowing five-hour complimentary access to the centre’s facilities and themed workshops.
The statement said that the centre’s vibrant decorations are inspired by Galaxy Kidz mascot Wavey the peacock, who makes special appearances to delight young guests with birthday gifts, while there are also tailor-made party food and activities.
Themed activities and workshops also provide immersive experiences in S.T.E.A.M. subjects, which Wikipedia says comprise the areas of science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics. Activities include conducting scientific experiments in Wavey’s Lab and culinary adventures in Wavey’s Kitchen, while “outdoor enthusiasts” can engage in Free Play activities or Nature Explorers on the tropical Grand Resort Deck.
