The Sports Bureau (ID) said in a statement on Saturday that the Tamagnini Barbosa Sports Centre’s swimming pool has reopened.
The pool had previously been closed after failing to meet the government’s water quality standards, with its temporary closure announced by the bureau last Wednesday. Disinfection, cleaning, and water replacement have now been completed, the statement noted, with the pool having reopened at 5 p.m. on Saturday.
The statement said that members of the public can buy swimming tickets, while the online booking service has also resumed. Moreover, on-the-spot tickets is also available.
According to the Sport Bureau’s website, the indoor swimming pool is open for three sessions daily, which are 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., 12 noon to 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The individual fees, meanwhile, are 5 patacas for those aged under 18 and concession card holders, and 15 patacas for those over 18.
More information can be found on the bureau’s website on http://www.sport.gov.mo or by calling the Sports Bureau’s hotline on 2823 6363.
