A lorry flipped on its side when it was reversing on the Mong Ha campus of the Macao University of Tourism (UTM) on the peninsula yesterday, the authorities said.
The driver, a 61-year-old local man, sustained slight injuries and was taken to the public Conde de São Januário Hospital Centre for treatment.
According to statements by the Fire Services Bureau (CB) and the Public Security Police (PSP), the accident occurred outside a building on the campus at around 11 a.m. yesterday when the driver was delivering goods to the university.
According to the statements, the lorry flipped on its side due to loss of balance when it was reversing on a slope.
Firefighters rescued the driver from the vehicle with the assistance of a PSP truck-mounted crane.
