The track was previously open on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.; 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays; 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays; and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays, according to the bureau’s website.
The track is now also open on Mondays, with the statement noting that the new opening hours are now as follows: 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Mondays to Wednesdays; 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays; 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays; and 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
According to the bureau, the opening hours were adjusted aiming to “offer more options for the sports and tourist experience in Macau by means of diversified sporting activities”.
Kart racers must at least be 1.5 metre tall, hold a valid driving licence and must follow the track’s rules and regulations, the statement pointed out.
