Dancers perform the “Poetic Dance Drama: The Journey of a Legendary Landscape Painting – A Panorama of Mountains and Rivers” at The Venetian Theatre in Cotai last night. More performances will be held between today and Sunday. Part of the Sands China Performing Arts Programme, the show is also a key supported work of the “Stage Art Masterpiece Creation Project Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China”, according to a statement by the integrated resort operator last week. Last night’s show was attended, among others by Secretary for Administration and Justice André Cheong Weng Chon, Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO) Director Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes and Macau Cultural Affairs Bureau President Leong Wai Man. Executive Vice-chairman of Sands China Ltd Wilfred Wong Ying-wai received the numerous VIP guests including well-known media and cultural sector representatives.
