The Macau Customs Service (SA) caught red-handed on Saturday three mainlanders aged between 27 and 53 smuggling 10 boxes of live lobsters weighing about 185 kilograms with a market value of about 150,000 patacas to the mainland.
According to a press conference at the SA headquarters in Barra district, early Saturday morning, the Macau Customs Service surveillance team spotted a fishing vessel suspected to be engaged in smuggling activities at Pier 33 in the Inner Harbour area, and immediately notified its patrol crew to intercept the vessel.
