The Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO) announced in a statement yesterday that the 32nd Macao International Fireworks Display Contest will be held on September 7, 14 and 21 and October 1 and 6.
The firework shows will be held at 9 p.m. and at 9:40 p.m. on the five days in the sky above Macau Tower, the statement said.
The firework display contest will comprise pyrotechnics companies from 10 countries, the statement said.
The MGTO statement recommended the five best viewing locations to watch the fireworks, namely Anim’Arte NAM VAN; Avenida de Sagres (next to the Mandarin Oriental hotel); the area between Kun Iam Ecumenical Centre and Kun Iam Statue Waterfront Leisure Area on Avenida Dr Sun Yat-Sen; the waterfront at the Macau Science Centre (MSC), and Avenida do Oceano in Taipa.
