A Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesperson said during a special briefing yesterday that a gambler from the mainland was arrested on Tuesday for robbing a local casino worker of 900 patacas, adding that the male suspect quickly gambled away the money.

According to the spokesperson, the suspect, surnamed Wang, is 44 years old.

The spokesperson said the victim told the police on November 28 last year that she was robbed by a man in the car park under the Arts Garden in Avenida da Amizade at 6 a.m. of that day.
