The 32nd Macau International Fireworks Display Contest, organized by the Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO), kicked off last night, ending on October 6. Canadian and Thai companies presented the first two rival displays, while Russian and French fireworks shows were scheduled for tonight. According to MGTO, 10 pyrotechnics enterprises will present their displays during the contest. After tonight, they competition will continue on September 21 as well as on October 1 (National Day) and October 6. Each nicht will feature two displays, with each lasting for around 18 minutes. MGTO has been organizing the contest since 1989.
