Stroke victim Andy Wong Chi Kuan, who is in his thirties and adopted a vegetarian lifestyle when he was recovering from a stroke, is now promoting vegetarianism to people around him.
Speaking to The Macau Post Daily in a restaurant in Nam Van yesterday, Wong, who is working in a local media company, said he suffered from a stroke four years ago, causing paralysis to one side of his body.
Realising his bad habits, such as not getting enough sleep and eating food high in fat, sugar and salt, had put his health at risk, Wong decided to adopt a new lifestyle.
