The Mapping and Land Registry Bureau (DSCC) has recently published the trilingual (Chinese, English and Portuguese) “Atlas of Macao – 2024”, which has gone on sale.
The recently launched atlas, priced at 140 patacas, features records of the city’s urban development through topographic maps, as well as the current urban scenery through satellite images and aerial photography, among other surveying and mapping techniques, according to a statement from the bureau yesterday. Moreover, the statement added that by scanning QR codes, readers can also find 360º panoramic photos and “dynamic maps”.
Readers can also find detailed street maps, satellite image maps, planning and zoning maps, maps of land formation at different stages, and geographical statistics, among others.
Moreover, special topics like “Roaming Along the Macao Coastline”, which explores Macau’s coastal routes and seaside attractions, and displays the latest topographic data of the local coastline and surrounding environment through aerial images and topographic maps captured by drones, and the “Review of Macao’s Urban Infrastructure”, which delves into the local government’s public construction achievements in various fields, are also added.
One can buy the atlas online via https://eservice.dscc.gov.mo, or purchase it at the bureau’s headquarters, Macau Government Services Centres, Macau Government Services Centre in Taipa, the General Post Office (GPO), Macau Cultural Plaza, Wan Tat Bookstore, or at Seng Kwong Bookstore.
