The Judiciary Police (PJ) announced yesterday the arrest of a 45-year-old local woman for splashing acid drain cleaner over a 30-year-old mainlander who was reportedly her boyfriend.
A PJ spokesperson announced the case during a special press conference at the PJ headquarters.
The spokesperson said the couple had been quarrelling over relationship problems since the birth of their child late last year. The woman told the police she felt abandoned as the man refused to fulfil his paternal responsibility.
