The latest edition of the trilingual (Chinese, Portuguese and English) Books and the City magazine is now available, this time taking on the theme “The Era of E-Reading”.
Now in its 38th edition, yesterday’s Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) statement said that it introduces the public library’s e-resources, while user experiences and expert insights on current e-reading trends are also tackled. Its “Library Handbook” section meanwhile features lectures and training courses on antique book restoration, while the “Reading Landscape” spotlights the recently inaugurated Bairro da Ilha Verde Library, according to the statement, while The Little Fish Swims into the Moon by student poet Chen Junzhe is introduced in the “Author’s Say” section.
Moreover, 10 brief book reviews and the “New Launch” section also make their return. The statement said that 3,000 copies are available across public libraries, various bookstores, higher education institutions, the Tap Seac Gallery and other local cultural and art facilities, while an online version is available on www.library.gov.mo.
