The Ritz-Carlton to host New Year’s Eve events

Hotel operator The Ritz-Carlton, Macau has said in a recent statement that it is set to host a series of “luxurious New Year’s Eve events”.

Among them is a six-course New Year’s Eve Dinner at the Ritz-Carlton Café, priced at 988 patacas per person and wine pairing for an additional 488 patacas, that features a menu that pays tribute to “French culinary excellence”. Highlights, include Miso-Scented Roasted Toothfish with Lobster Coral Tempura and Pigeon Rossini with Crispy Bacon, Morel Mushroom, Savoy Cabbage and Black Truffle Sauce, according to the statement.

The statement noted that Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant Lai Heen meanwhile has an eight course New Year’s Eve Dégustation Dinner, which starts off with Deep-fried Duck with Balsamic Vinegar followed by the Double-boiled Fish Maw Soup with Snow Goose. Priced at 1,888 patacas, other highlights include Sautéed Prawn with Wild Rice in Rich Superior Broth, and the fragrant Traditional Stewed Eight Treasure Pigeon.

Moreover, at The Ritz-Carlton Bar & Lounge, the “Putting on the Ritz Countdown Party” will be hosted, inviting guests to “immerse themselves in the dazzling world of the 1920s”, the statement said.

The party will feature a live six-piece band, flowing premium champagne and gourmet snacks, as well as a “vibrant and celebratory” atmosphere, the statement noted. Tickets are priced at 388 patacas per person and include two glasses of Moët Imperial Brut or selected wine, while a selection of VIP table packages is also available starting from 2,288 patacas for two to three guests, with options available for larger groups.
