MGM announces staff salary rise

Integrated resort (IR) operator MGM announced a salary increase for its staff in a statement yesterday, effective from March 24.

According to the statement, 99 percent of eligible staff will receive a 2.5 percent increment. The statement added that staff with a monthly salary of or less than 16,000 patacas will get a standard salary adjustment of 600 patacas, representing a 2.5 percent to 5.5 percent increment.

Chairperson and Executive Director of MGM China Holdings Limited Pansy Ho Chiu King was quoted by the statement as saying: “We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our team members for their wholehearted dedication in moving forward hand in hand with the company.

She added: “In the new year, MGM will fully support the policy implementation of the [Macau] SAR Government as always; pragmatically promote the development of all-for-one cultural tourism, while working with the team to continue to enrich the essence of Macau as ‘One Centre, One Platform, One Base’.”
