SJM Resorts has said in a recent statement that it has recently unveiled a new and revitalised look for its “Made in Macau” retail space at the new Shop 143B at Grand Lisboa Palace (GLP) in Cotai.

The integrated resort operator has been operating the space at GLP since 2022, the statement said.

Located on Level 1 of the integrated resort, the retail space features eight local brands that sell products such as handmade bags, personal and skin care, snacks and creative products using artificial intelligence (AI). The brands are namely Wayuu Macau; Belongs Jewelry & Art; Cloé Jewelry & Art; Forest Bath; LIANA LIFE; DR.AI; Lovely Shop; and Macau Puyue.

Throughout the reimagined space are also images and design elements featuring SJM’s mascot “Sam the Rooster” wearing an “I love Macau” outfit.

The statement quoted SJM Managing Director Daisy Ho Chiu Fung as saying that the space “reflects SJM’s commitment to contributing to the community. We believe that a premium physical retail platform allows local MSMEs to break through marketing constraints, connect directly with international visitors, broaden their business opportunities, and play a vital role in Macau’s retail landscape”.

“We hope ‘Made in Macau’ will not only serve as a window showcasing Macau’s creativity but also as a convergence point of tradition and innovation, allowing visitors to deeply experience the city’s heritage”, Ho added.

The space is open from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
