The Tap Siac* Craft Market in Spring is set to be held in April, with the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) again calling on applications from interested stall operators and proposals for creative handicraft workshops.

Applications are free of charge.

The free-admission craft market will take place in Praça do Tap Seac (塔石廣場) from April 24 to April 27 and May 1 to 4.

A Friday statement from the bureau noted that those interested can send in applications until February 26, adding that there will be 220 handicraft and creative gastronomy stalls.

Applicants from Macau, Malaysia and Singapore can apply via www5.icm.gov.mo/craftmarketV2, while those from the mainland, Hong Kong and China’s Taiwan region can find more details on www.craftmarket.gov.mo, the statement said.

For creative handicraft workshops, applicants can submit proposals until February 19 by emailing apply.DPICC@icm.gov.mo or directly to the bureau’s headquarters in Praça do Tap Seac (塔石廣場).

Application rules, the e-application form, along with the criteria for proposals can be found at the craft market website

*Tap Siac is the bureau’s alternate spelling for “Tap Seac”, which is where the craft market is held in the spring and the autumn.
