The Macau Post and Telecommunications Bureau (CTT) announced last night that it would resume parcel services to the US from today, adding, however, that “adjustments to the US postal service policies cannot be ruled out at any time”.

The Hongkong Post announced earlier yesterday that it would resume acceptance of mail for shipments to the US from today, in the view of the fact that the US authorities have confirmed that they would not impose a tariff on mail containing goods sent from Hong Kong to the US.

In the statement, the bureau reminded members of the public about the possible delays in the delivery of mail to the US by saying that the “previous suspension of related services by the United States Postal Service may have caused a backlog of mail.
