A 17-year-old schoolboy was arrested on Monday for indecently assaulting an 11-year-old schoolgirl in the stairwell of a residential building in Fai Chi Kei on Friday, Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesman Choi Ian Fai said during a special press briefing yesterday.
Choi identified the suspect as a F5 pupil surnamed Chan in a school in the northern district.
According to Choi, the boy followed the victim into a tower block in Rua Sul do Patane on Friday. They took the same lift, and the suspect left two floors lower than the floor on which the girl lives.
