The Judiciary Police (PJ) yesterday announced the arrest of a 21-year-old local man for burgling two flats in a residential building in Areia Preta where he stole possessions worth about 17,300 patacas.
The suspect succeeded in burgling the two flats after he had found the spare keys of each of the flats – which the owners had put underneath the mats in the corridor outside their flats, according to PJ spokesman Choi Ian Fai.
Choi identified the suspect as an unemployed man surnamed Wong, during a special press conference yesterday.
