The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) is calling for submissions of articles by scholars and specialists at the national and international level for this edition of the Review of Culture (RC), which is this time centred on the historical and cultural research related to “Culture City of East Asia 2025 – Macao, China”, the bureau said in a statement on Friday.
Submissions can be made until April 30, the statement noted, adding that the manuscripts can be in Chinese, Portuguese or English.
The statement said that the related research topics include, but are not limited to, the historical and cultural ties between Macau and East Asian regions and countries, Macau’s role and contributions to cultural exchanges within the region, and the distinct East Asian characteristics embedded in Macau’s multicultural heritage.
Submissions, according to the statement, can be made to cms.rc@um.edu.mo. After an anonymous review, the accepted articles are slated to be published in this year’s edition.
