Each character finds itself is portrayed as taking part in various sports. From being fight-ready by donning boxing gloves or wearing traditional karate attire (aka karate gi) to playing football, table tennis and fencing, each depiction features the character engaging in sport.

The works were created through mixed media and acrylics, but exhibitiongoers will also be greeted with a large statue of the two characters dressed in car-racing leathers displayed in the centre of the room.

A recent statement displayed at the exhibition noted that the both pandas are also sharing the joy of sport, conveying “a positive lifestyle attitude to the public”, which strengthens physical health and brings “endless joy and vitality”.
