There are still four days left to catch the ongoing “2025 Spring Book Culture Festival” (2025春季書香文化節), which is being held at the Tap Seac Multisport Pavillion through Sunday.
The event, which is organised by Associação de Publicações de Macau (“Macau Publishing Association”), kicked off on Friday, and those visiting will be able to find a variety of books ranging from children’s books and comics to novels and textbooks, just to name a few. Moreover, books published by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) and local universities, among others, are also on sale.
Most of the books sold are in Chinese, although there are also books in Portuguese and English. Fairgoers will also be able to find handmade items like tote bags, along with toys such as educational ones, along with popular board games.
Discounts are available on selected items.
Public broadcaster TDM said on Friday that the fair comprises 50 exhibitors, with 60,000 books showcased.
Meanwhile, aside from shopping for books and other items, the ongoing event will also host book launches and discussion sessions, according to an event schedule displayed outside the exhibition hall.
Fairgoers may check out the various books and other offerings from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. until Sunday.
