According to a statement by the Marine and Water Bureau (DSAMA), the Maritime Museum in Barra, which has temporarily been closed for maintenance since February 19, will reopen to the public tomorrow.
The museum is located near A-Ma (Ma Kok) Temple in Barra (“Harbour Entrance”) district.
The closure was essential for repairs to the central air-conditioning system and other facilities, the statement pointed out.
The statement noted that upon reopening, the museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (with admission until 5:30 p.m.) daily, except Tuesdays. Visitors can enjoy free admission and group guided tours.
