The Institute of European Studies of Macau (IEEM) is slated to host the “China-EU Relations in Times of Transitions” conference on Saturday, with the event aiming to “explore the perceptions, policies and aspirations of China and the European Union in their bilateral relationship”, according to an IEEM statement yesterday.
The one-day event will be held at Artyzen Grand Lapa Hotel in Nape.
The English-language conference will run from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and feature experts and scholars from Europe, the mainland, Hong Kong and Macau for keynote speeches and panel discussions, the statement noted.
Among the topics to be discussed, the statement said, are geopolitical and international relations, security and defence, political dynamics, economic affairs, trade, and investment, as well as the legal, environmental, energy, climate, social and cultural areas.
The statement noted that the conference is free of charge, though advance registration is required. Those interested can visit www.ieem.org.mo or call 2835 4326 for enquiries or registration.
