The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) announced yesterday ticket refund arrangements for several cancelled programmes of the “2nd Macao International Children’s Art Festival” originally scheduled for July 19 and 20.
According to an IC statement yesterday, adverse weather caused by Typhoon “Wipha” led to the cancellation of performances including “Bebeethoven”, “Disney The Magic Box”, and film screenings such as “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” and “Into the Wonderwoods”, with refunds to be processed according to original ticket purchase methods.
The statement added that tickets for Bebeethoven purchased via the Enjoy Macao Ticketing online platform will be automatically refunded to original payment accounts. Those who purchased tickets at physical outlets can request refunds at the same outlets until August 31. The performance of the programme on 18 July at 2:30 p.m. was held as scheduled, but ticket refunds will still be provided for those who were unable to attend the show due to the adverse weather conditions that day.
For “Disney The Magic Box”, online purchases via Cotai Ticketing or Enjoy Macao Ticketing will be automatically refunded, the statement said. In-person buyers must return to the original point of sale. Refunds for “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” and “Into the Wonderwoods” follow a similar procedure via Cinematheque•Passion, the statement added.
Refund or rescheduling options are also available for participants in the “Family Art Camp” and workshops that should have been held last weekend.
