Aiming to demonstrate the strength of the nation’s independent technology, inject new vitality into Macau and its digital economy, and lay the foundation for future development, the first “JOS iTEA TechFront 2025” event was successfully held on Thursday.

The one-day event, which took place at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Macau, was organised by Hong Kong Broadband Network Jardine OneSolution (HKBN JOS) (Macau).

At the event, representatives from BytePlus, ByteDance’s AI cloud service platform and others talked about their practical experience and had in-depth discussions on how technology integration can promote digital transformation, improve industry quality and strengthen network security.

The event focused on China’s independently developed technologies and artificial intelligence (AI), and delved into their latest advancements, application trends, and challenges across intelligent enterprise operations, cybersecurity, domestically produced chips (semiconductors), and industrial applications, aiming to deliver forward-looking insights for the industry.

HKBN JOS President and Group Chief Operating Officer Denis Yip Shing Fai said in his speech he hoped that through the event technological innovation and cooperation can be promoted between Macau and other regions, bringing together leading technology companies, to explore more business opportunities, and promote the setting-up of a high-end technology think tank.
