We will sit on the fence as far as our coverage of the current election campaign is concerned. We do not specifically support any of the six direct-election groups, but neither are we against any of them, considering that all of them have been officially approved by the Electoral Affairs Commission for upholding the Macau Basic Law and being loyal to the Macau Special Administrative Region (MSAR) – two requirements that have our support. From today until next Friday we will strive to profile the six groups in a neutral, objective and factual way, aiming to help voters make up their minds. We will profile the groups by the order on the ballot paper. Each profile will include one photo. The length of each article will range between 900 and 1,000 words. All the articles will be published on Page 3.
