A Philippine domestic helper has been arrested for stealing jewellery worth about HK$48,000 from her employer’s jewellery shop, a Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesperson said yesterday.
The spokesperson said the 30-year-old suspect surnamed Delim lived in a room at her employer’s flat in Taipa.According to the spokesperson, Delim’s employer asked the police for help on Friday after noticing that a number of pieces of jewellery in his shop in the central district had vanished.
