The Macau Post and Telecommunications Bureau (CTT) held its Cybersecurity Vulnerability Management Workshop (2025) on Saturday at the Auditorium of the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Centre (CPTTM) with a large attendance and active participation, according to a statement from the bureau yesterday.
The workshop introduced the fundamentals of cybersecurity vulnerability management, including identification, assessment criteria, and remediation methods, the statement said, adding that participants were guided on how to enhance their ability to detect vulnerabilities in computers and IT equipment, apply management technologies, and implement mitigation strategies.
The aim was to help enterprises and institutions improve their cybersecurity defence capabilities and reduce the risk of cyberattack incidents, the bureau added.
The bureau will continue to provide training courses for private operators of critical infrastructure and employees of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), while aiming to cultivate more cybersecurity professionals to support industry development and safeguard Macau’s digital environment, the statement said.
