Attending yesterday’s forum in Areia Preta Park hosted by government broadcaster TDM, guest speakers and audience members raised starkly divergent views on the government’s first-ever report about the city’s gaming industry.
About two dozen residents attended the weekly open-air forum. Yesterday’s programme focused on the mid-term gaming sector performance report released by the government last week and issues related to the gaming sector such as the role of junket operators.
Macau’s three gaming concessions and three sub-concessions will expire between 2020 and 2022.
