Integrated resort operator Studio City will present the Toy Story Drone Carnival on October 4 and 5 at its Event Garden in celebration of National Day and the Mid-Autumn Festival, according to a statement from the company yesterday.

National Day is celebrated on October 1, while this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival falls on October 6.

During the dates, the statement noted that over 1,000 drones will take to the sky at 8 p.m. and 9:45 p.m., during which spectators will see images of well-known characters such as Woody and Buzz Lightyear from the animated films created by Pixar Animation Studios and owned by The Walt Disney Company.

Aside from the shows, the statement said that there will be carnival game booths featuring prizes, along with Toy Story-themed beverages, among others. Other highlights, the statement said, include a 6-metre Woody inflatable at the Event Garden for guests to “enjoy the carnival atmosphere”, according to the statement.
