Registration is now open for the “hush! 300 Seconds” short video competition, according to a Friday statement from the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC).
The contest is part of the broader “hush! Beach Concerts” event scheduled for October 11 to 19.
The statement said that the competition aims to provide an online platform for the public to share their musical talents. Interested participants can submit a video of a music or vocal performance. The statement noted that a specific “Music in Sports Award” will be given to encourage the combination of musical and sports elements in the videos.
Several other awards will be granted based on different criteria. These include prizes for musicality, creativity, enthusiastic performance, and participatory spirit, the statement confirmed. A “Most Popular Award” will also be given based on public acclaim.
The submission period ends at noon on October 8. The competition regulations and application forms are available to download on the bureau’s website on www.icm.gov.mo. The results will be announced on the “HUSH FULL MUSIC” social media pages on October 14, with awards presented at the beach concerts on October 19.
For enquiries, one can contact the bureau on 8399 6802 or via email at hush@icm.gov.mo.
