The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) announced in a statement on Monday that catering bids for its Macau Outdoor Performance Venus can now be submitted.
According to the statement, the venue will host three concerts on October 29, November 8 - 9, and November 21 respectively. In order to enhance the events’ services, the bureau has launched a bidding process by inviting local food and beverage businesses to provide light food and beverages during the concerts, the statement said.
The statement said that the bidding period runs until next Monday at 5:45 p.m. with no registration fees; all Macau-based catering companies are welcome to submit bids.
The statement underlined that the venue is located at the junction of Avenida do Aeroporto (機場大馬路) and Rua de Ténis (網球路). The venue will feature six catering containers for booths to provide light food and beverage services during the concerts.
According to the statement, six suitable bids will be selected for each concert, with each chosen business independently operating one catering container on the day of the concert under a self-financing model.
All selected units are required to handle all necessary licensing procedures in line with current regulations, the statement said.
The statement said that all bidders may choose to participate in the catering initiative for one, two, or all three concerts. If bidding for multiple concert dates, separate documentation must be submitted for each event, the statement said.
