The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) will host 63 creative handicraft workshops as part of the upcoming Tap Siac Craft Market, according to a recent statement.
Tap Siac is the bureau’s alternative spelling of Tap Seac.
The market will be held in Praça do Tap Seac from November 20 to 23 and 27 to 30. The statement said the workshops will include ceramics, glass, miniature-making and leatherwork. Thirteen of the sessions are earmarked for families.
Members of the public can register for the workshops online via the ‘Activity Applications’ section of the Macao One Account website. The statement noted that the registration period is until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5. Each workshop costs 50 patacas, with individuals limited to a maximum of two different workshops.
Successful applicants will be chosen by lucky draw and notified by SMS on November 7, the statement said. Selected applicants must pay the fee within a specified period. The statement added that latecomers to the workshops risk losing their place to applicants on a waiting list, with no refund provided.
Further details and the full workshop schedule are available on the Tap Siac Craft Market website https://www.craftmarket.gov.mo/.
