At the open-air Auto Show, some of the cars and competing in this year’s 72nd MGP were displayed alongside 20 motorcycles lined up for the 57th Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix, she noted. According to Lei, 20 riders vying for the podium in this Saturday’s Motorcycle Grand Prix were also invited to the venue to interact with residents and tourists, aiming to offer them preview of this weekend’s thrilling atmosphere of the MGP.

According to an MGPOC statement on Saturday night, in order to further enhance the motor-racing atmosphere in the city’s various neighbourhoods, the committee will set up large screens to broadcast the races in multiple locations, namely Largo do Senado (議事亭前地), Iao Hon Market Park (祐漢街市公園), Rotunda de Carlos da Maia (三盞燈圓形地; popularly aka “Three Lamps”), Taipa Carmo Fair (氹仔嘉模墟), Praça da Amizade (友誼廣場; popularly aka “Sintra Square”), the sitting-out area of Lok Yeong Fa Yuen Building (綠楊花園休憩區) and Praça do Tap Siac (塔石廣場).
