Guest speakers at yesterday’s Macau Forum expressed dissatisfaction with the government for recently cancelling the HOS flat purchase contracts of several dozen applicants for subsidised home ownership scheme (HOS) flats.

The weekly open-air debate is hosted by government-owned broadcaster TDM in Areia Preta Park every Sunday.

The Housing Bureau (IH) said in a statement last month that it had cancelled the HOS purchase contracts for 61 applicants, after IH officials discovered that the applicants themselves, or members of their household, owned a residential property.
