Eighteen-year-old French driver Théophile Naël, based in Hong Kong with KCMG Enya Pinnacle Motorsport, won this afternoon’s Macau Grand Prix – FIA FR World Cup. The race concluded behind the safety car.

In 2023, Naël won the F4 Spanish Championship.

His teammate from Spain, 21-year-old Mari Boya, finished in second place. France’s Shanghai-born Enzo Deligny, 17, took third, racing for R-ACE GP. Britain’s 17-year-old Freddie Slater of SJM Theodore Prema Racing, who started in pole position, failed to reach the podium due to an accident.

Meanwhile, 19-year-old Jules Roussel won the first Macau Formula 4 Race – FIA F4 World Cup this morning.

Additionally, Australia’s Josh Buchan of HMO Customer Racing (Hyundai Elantra N TCR) secured victory in the Macau Guia Race – Kumho FIA TCR World Tour Event of Macau.

Earlier this afternoon, Italy’s Antonio Fuoco of AF Corse SRL (Ferrari 296 GT3) won the Macau GT Cup – FIA GT World Cup.

The four-day 72nd Macau Grand Prix (MGP) concluded this afternoon. The races took place in relatively dry and warm weather. The annual event, organised by the local government, features car and motorcycle races along the city’s 6.2-kilometre street circuit.

The MGP Organising Committee announced this evening that a record 116,000 spectators watched the races, the highest number of the four-day event, apart from the exceptionally six-day, two-weekend-long 70th anniversary event in 2023, which attracted 145,000.
