Choi Kin Long, the acting chief of the Division for Cultural Heritage Conservation of the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), said yesterday that the exterior of the former Lok Kok tea house building has remained unchanged since 2014.

The building was listed as a heritage site under the category of “buildings with architectural interest” in 1984.

Choi made the remarks when speaking to reporters after a press conference about the bureau’s hiring malpractice at the IC headquarters in Praça do Tap Seac.
